According to ACP Data, almost 80 percent of the factors that cause reduced well-being in doctors are related to administrative systems rather than the actual work of caring for patients. As a result, the ACP is rolling out a new, four-pronged program to address these issues among doctors.
“Physician Well-being and Professional Satisfaction” will help doctors cultivate a deeper sense of personal comfort, health, and happiness, which will make their organizations more effective. The initiative will promote community support and push for major changes in systems that will help improve the quality of life for doctors. To learn more about this mission, visit www.acponline.org.
